The tuberose scent here is truly refined, but with a somewhat bitchy note. The spicy peppery base adds interest. Overall, it looks beautiful and noble. It's just a shame that this brand can no longer be found in Rive Gauche

Today I popped into Rive Gauche and, you know, it's simply magnificent. A true aristocrat, yet so cold and inaccessible. Its femininity is simply captivating, but at the same time there's a certain detachment, like a true lady. This scent isn't for everyday life, it demands a special occasion - stilettos, a long dress, and an evening in some luxurious palace. Tuberose and ylang-ylang, framed by jasmine, create a festive atmosphere, as if you're at a ball. Spices are barely noticeable, only flowers, and that even makes me happy, because I adore such refined florality. I think I'm lost in this fragrance )

Pepper in perfumery always made me wary, but here it turned out to be a real discovery! The scent is bright and long-lasting, just super. I applied it to my wrist in the morning, and I can still feel the delicate notes of yellow flowers, jasmine, and tuberose. It's simply a feast for the senses! 🌼

At the store, I asked the consultant to spray the scent on my man's wrist because I had no free space left on mine. All the way home, I wanted to keep smelling it on his skin again and again. Even the blotter smelled for almost a week and stayed just as vivid for a long time. I bought a 30 ml bottle as soon as I had the chance, and now I'm already thinking about getting a big one. As long as you don't overdo it and stick to 2-3 sprays, it easily lasts half the day and stays constantly present around you, although it doesn't leave a loud trail. The scent is deep, beautiful, and genuinely worthy

The scent, in my opinion, really evokes associations with Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. But, despite that, McQueen impresses with its depth and sexiness. It seems to envelop you, creating a special atmosphere. My rating is a solid five out of five

The opening is just terrible. A plunge into some parallel reality where everything is shrouded in darkness, and jasmine waves only add to the heaviness. Suddenly everything around turns white, and you get lost in this light, like a blind person. It becomes hard to breathe from this endless amount of jasmine flowers. Then you're as if caught by some crazy whirlwind, and you find yourself in a new place. Here the air is humid and stuffy, the heat is simply unbearable. Underfoot, crunchy sand that smells of cloves, and the sea, shimmering with gold, only intensifies the feeling of suffocating heaviness. Horrible )

The fragrance is certainly impressive, but unfortunately, it's not for me. There's too much going on in it, in my opinion. It's very floral and sweet, with bright tuberose, ylang-ylang, and jasmine, and black pepper adds a kick. If I had to choose between two options, this one, strangely, seems more acceptable, as the pepper slightly softens the floral intensity. But it's still too floral for me 🌸
