Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Luminous Orchid evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Alexander McQueen is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a delicious creamy mood: Coffee, Orchid, Sesame, Tonka bean and Vanilla.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The bottle, of course, looks amazing, but the scent itself isn't quite for me. Too intense, floral-vanilla, as if all sweet notes were gathered in one place. It has something of Opium about it, but overall it's just another bright fragrance that's currently at the peak of popularity. I can't say it surprises me with anything 😕

This fragrance is simply super! The orchid here reminds me more of tuberose with jasmine than anything else. And combined with a chocolate-coffee dessert, it creates something unique. A floral gourmand, but without excessive sweetness. Everything is so harmonious! And not a drop of Tom Ford's influence, which is delightful 😍
