Equid Alexandre.J arrived in 2017 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the fern, wood, and citrus families. This fragrance is the result of a creative collaboration between Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Amélie Bourgeois. Part of the Atelier d`Artistes By Alexandre.J collection, available as eau de parfum.

Description of the composition

The composition of Equid is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Alexandre.J is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Coffee and Grapefruit.

In the middle phase you meet Geranium, Patchouli, Vetiver and White Cedar keeping a spicy-woody direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration Middle suggests confident staying power.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Wood. The palette also extends to Ambery and Musk.

Overall Equid sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.
