Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Oudi unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The style of Ard Al Zaafaran is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Floral, Musc, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense dry woody first notes: Oud, Patchouli and Rose.

In the heart you detect Ambergris, Cedar, Oud and Patchouli carrying a velvety sandalwood direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Musk, Oak moss, Oud and Sandalwood, reinforcing a warm vetiver trail.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Wood, Floral, Ambery and Musk. The framework further includes Earthy / Mossy and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to East.

Overall Oudi sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is truly impressive, it's somehow strange, with woody and earthy notes. The rose is bright but quickly fades into the background, and spices add warmth. On warm skin, it develops much more interestingly, but on my cold skin, it sounds almost purely woody
