Fragrance information:

Katzengott Art Deco Perfumes, unveiled in 2018, sits firmly in the category of a unisex fragrance, rooted in the green and aromatic families. The author of this composition is Elina Arsenieva, and that explains a lot. By character, it falls into the green, fruit, and earthy / mossy groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of balsamic can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. In eau de parfum — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

Country of origin — Russia, and that already says something about the quality. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Katzengott unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Art Deco Perfumes is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Vegetable and Mineral enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect juicy fruity opening notes: Forest Berries, Green Chord and Moss.

In the heart you detect Apple, Grape, Jasmine, Porcini and Tuberose holding a velvety fruity direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Balsamic, Earthy / Mossy, Fruit and Green. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Musk and Aromatic.

In summary Katzengott sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance opens with bright berries and apples, where oakmoss is clearly discernible. It's as if it awakens forest memories. In the middle, the composition becomes softer, with earthy and resinous notes, where woody accents add depth. Berries and flowers create an interesting, slightly bitter duet. Its sillage is powerful, especially in colder weather. The fragrance unfolds gradually, smoothly, playing with nuances. Towards the end, green notes appear, and it becomes denser and fresher, as if we are emerging from the forest into a bright clearing.

On the skin, it starts with a berry-apple accent, with prominent oakmoss. White floral notes add a touch of mystery, while grape juice and pine needles create an atmosphere of a mysterious forest. This is a fragrance that envelops without being heavy, and yet remains long-lasting. Woody and resinous undertones are felt at the end. It reveals itself best in coolness, as it loses its lightness and brightness in warmth ))))
