Axis Mon Amour Apricot: Story and Character

The Axis Mon Amour Apricot eau de parfum is a vibrant representative of the fruity-floral family, launched in 2005.

Created for women, it instantly wins hearts with its sincerity and cheerfulness. This fragrance is a hymn to sunshine, ripe fruit, and tenderness, embodied in an exquisite composition.

The history of the Axis brand began in 1998 with the Sense of Space Creations project, and its first fragrance, Octane, set a bold direction.

Description of the composition

The composition of Axis Mon Amour Apricot is built on the contrast between juicy fruits and warm woody notes.

The top accords greet us with apricot surrounded by fruity notes, creating a sense of ripeness and sweetness.

At the heart of the composition, luxurious floral notes bloom in a duet with exotic ylang-ylang, adding sensuality and depth.

The fragrance base is a comforting embrace of cedar, patchouli, and sandalwood, which lend the composition lasting power and a refined character.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is, as it were, delicate, with notes of apricot and flowers. It unfolds with sunny accords, creating a feeling of warmth. But, honestly, it feels more like a skincare product than a real perfume. It lacks the depth I expected

The apricot scent truly delights with its purity and elegance. Floral notes are felt in the heart, and in the base, it unfolds resinous and deep, without drifting into oriental motifs. The sweetness that is felt pleasantly warms the soul!!!

This scent for me is something special, evoking images of femininity as I see it. It's very light, with a honey-bitter nuance, gentle, and truly AFFECTIONATE. In a way, it reminds me of maternal care. I think only those who understand what true maternal love is can truly appreciate it

This fragrance is actually not bad for everyday use. Yes, it might seem a bit budget-friendly, but for a walk, a trip to the store, or even playing with a child in the sandbox, it's quite appropriate. It's not to say it's provocative or an evening scent; rather, it's just a pleasant smell that doesn't irritate or impose itself. Axis with apricot notes - it's like your loyal companion))) Although, I think it would also be suitable for work. Gently sweet, with a light honey note and a barely noticeable bitterness - overall, a very interesting combination
