I couldn't understand what gardenia in perfumery was until I saw the flower myself. I bought the plant, waited for it to bloom, and now I just can't get enough of anything related to gardenia. And if it's also Chanel, and gardenia is mentioned in the name - that's definitely a must-have!
The fragrance pyramid only lists Ambrette and Hibiscus, but I get associations with irises, violets, and powder. This scent reminds me of a fresh leather item, and it seems I'm not the only one who thinks so. It's interesting how such notes can intertwine and create such a mysterious atmosphere
So many negative opinions about the World series, and the manufacturer along with the perfumer still continue to release flankers, without changing their 'compote' style. It's just amazing! 😲
I was looking for something more affordable instead of Chanel's Jersey, and stumbled upon an interesting option in the base of the Premiere No. 5. I bought a full-size bottle, and all associations with the original simply vanished. The fragrance definitely has its pros, but unfortunately, there's almost no similarity to Jersey 😅
In the St. Petersburg store, the consultant said this fragrance is no longer being produced. Where can I find reliable info on this? Maybe I should stock up beforehand?!? 🤔
There's not a hint of femininity here, nor the sensuality usually inherent in mature ladies. The fragrance, in my opinion, is too light and simple, as if created for someone with a similar character. Honestly, it's disappointing
The fragrance simply strikes with its nostalgia. For those who appreciate vintage accents in perfumery, this is a real find. It has something special that takes you back to the past

This line will certainly find its fans, but despite the simplicity of the fragrances, there's something irritating in Kurkdjian's works that spoils the overall impression. In the first Kenzo World for...
How accurately noted. The sadness in the words is palpable 😔
Sorry for chiming in, but I don't smell chamomile at all, nor blackcurrant, which usually isn't too subtle. I smell fresh jasmine, a bit of dried mint, and a hint of basil 🌿
I bought this perfume because the tonka beans in the pyramid attracted me, but in the end, it was a complete disappointment. There were no tonka beans in my bottle, and that's just awful. Deauville, b...
Maybe I just don't get what the big deal is, but I don't feel any difference on my skin or on a blotter. I tested it on myself, but it was useless 😒
Chance, Tendre, and Chanel Eau Fraîche are just banal fragrances that will be forgotten in a couple of years. No depth, nothing memorable, just fleeting fashion 😒
Sea salt, in my opinion, is simply gorgeous as a base for perfume layering! It's a really cool choice that adds freshness and lightness. I'm thrilled with how it unfolds in the composition!
