Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Alabaster by Banana Republic is an unexpectedly cozy white flower that doesn't shout, but holds your hand. Wearing it is like wrapping yourself in a freshly washed blanket with a touch of sweetness ✨

This scent, sure, it's delicate, but there's something irritating about it somewhere. Freshness, yeah, but the tartness just drives me crazy, and the spicy note is totally out of place. Don't know who came up with this, but it just didn't work for me 😒

This green-floral scent just seems transparent, like water. The roses come through, but with some soapy undertone, which is puzzling. In the bottle, it's essentially crystal water, and the musk adds a certain heaviness. The lightness and airiness they talk about are actually deceptive. You feel like something is missing, and it leaves a bitter aftertaste

Damn, it's so sad when lotus in perfumery evokes such mixed feelings. Usually I'm wary of it, but here it's really delicate. At first you can feel it, but then the whole essence goes into the rose, and the lotus just becomes a background, as if it wasn't even there

What the heck, I thought it was something similar to Le Par Kenzo, but damn, no. Over time I realized it's more like a rose in some soapy musk. Overall, not bad, a fresh and light scent. Though the lotus sometimes acts weird. I haven't been able to use the miniature for six years

The pyramid isn't as straightforward. Initially, I liked how it unfolds. It smells quite complex, green, and shifty. Images of trees, grass, and sunny clearings came to mind. In the base, there's a lot of sweetness, something candy-like with a banana nuance. Depending on how much you apply, the fragrance can suit both the office and a celebration. It's quite understated and makes the wearer's image softer. The sweetness sets a lyrical mood. In my opinion, it's not as overused as Versace and Trussardi, which are essentially in the same vein

Lotus is my true passion, it's everywhere: in perfume, cosmetics, even in jewelry. This fragrance hasn't disappointed me for a second - from the first sniff, I felt how it captivated me. The freshness is simply amazing, so spring-fresh and inviting, and pure! It's like standing by a lotus pond with pink bushes blooming all around 🌸.

It's simple and clear, even though its pyramid isn't that big. But not once has it disappointed me with anything unpleasant or strange. Yes, the complexity of its development gave way a bit to purity and reliability, and I'm only happy about that! The longevity is also top-notch. The sillage might be small, but I'm so enchanted by this transparent cloud that it feels like everything around me is fragrant 🌼

The fragrance truly pleases, and the bottle is convenient and stylish. Wearing it was a pleasure, and holding it in your hands - just pure bliss. Its sillage is powerful, bright, and long-lasting. It energizes you. Yet, you can feel a tenderness in it; you wouldn't call it unisex. The lotus at the beginning is especially impressive, it's something new instead of the usual citrus notes

The fragrance, in my opinion, is quite bitter and tart, but at the same time fresh, though you wouldn't call it light. There's something in it that brings to mind men's perfumes. Honestly, it's not really suitable for spring or summer, but for winter or autumn it'll be just right!!! The lotus note is beautifully felt, and the sweetish rose doesn't appear right away… Overall, it's a good, complex, and feminine scent. For an evening out - an excellent choice for many

The scent is really nice, you could even say it's pleasant. Though it slightly reminds me of something from the past - the combination of rose and black pepper. But, honestly, it's totally not for grandmas

The opening notes of the fragrance are very delicate... the lotus flower is really captivating, but only for the first few minutes. Then rosehip comes to the forefront, which expresses itself quite brightly. The lotus seems to recede into the background, but doesn't disappear completely, and together with amber, it gives a special twist to the wild rose, creating a feeling of endless femininity. I decided to try something new and bought it) The scent is simple, but overall quite pleasant. I use it depending on my mood) But, honestly, I doubt I'll want to buy it again)
