Fragrance information:

Jade Banana Republic, unveiled in 2006, sits firmly in the category of a feminine fragrance, falling within the floral family. Perfumer Beatrice Piquet is the author behind this composition. Available as eau de parfum.

The sillage is delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. Made in the United States. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Jade is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Banana Republic is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Floral, Fruit, Spicy and Cosmetic with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Middle indicates a stable lasting impression. In trail behavior Weak describes the way the scent radiates.

In the first seconds you catch sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Blackcurrant, Pink pepper and Tomato leaf.

In the heart you meet Lily of the Valley, Passion fruit and Pomegranate carrying a soft nectarous direction.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Fruit, Spicy, Green and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Floral.

In summary Jade sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance is truly fresh and green, with light floral notes and a pleasant fruit sweetness. Passionfruit here sounds very bright, yet soft, thanks to watery accents and greenery. There are no complexities in it, but it fills you with positivity and inspires new achievements 🌿

Pomegranate and passionfruit are so harmoniously blended here, it's hard to separate them. A little sweetness, a little freshness - overall, a strange feeling))) But the longevity of the fragrance is impressive. The sillage isn't too wide 🍃
