Fragrance information:

Since 2000, Silk Columbus Beautimatic has never stopped surprising. This is a masculine fragrance rooted in the spicy family. The fragrance belongs to the ambery and wood groups. Part of the Silk collection, available as eau de toilette.

The sillage is noticeable — present, but never overpowering. Apply 1-2 sprays whether on skin or fabric — it works equally well either way. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. Made in Russia. Silk Columbus Beautimatic — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Silk Columbus is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Beautimatic is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette keeps the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Wood and Amber without random overlap. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression. In projection Noticeable shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

In the first seconds you meet invigorating sunny opening notes: Bergamot and Mandarin.

At the core of development you meet Patchouli and Tobacco carrying a spicy-woody direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Ambergris, reinforcing a deep amber trail.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Ambery, Wood, Citrus and Spicy. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Spicy.

In summary Silk Columbus holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Sweet, intrusive scent. What nonsense? It's unclear what it's made of, just some cloying sweetness with that silly fizzy opening. Something from the 90s again, although it seems it was released quite recently. I don't understand how anyone can wear something like this
