Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Lime & Bergamot unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Bronnley comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets the right density and pace of development.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Ambery and Wood. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Citrus.

In the first seconds you catch invigorating sunny opening notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit and Lime. Exactly these 3 notes build a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you sense Bergamot, Grapefruit and Lime keeping a pure citrus-floral direction. At drydown level the composition is fixed through Ambergris and Woody Accord, reinforcing a deep amber trail.

The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Lime & Bergamot holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent from the bottle certainly pleases with its refreshing and sharp notes, the citrus notes are indeed bright, as expected. But on the skin, unfortunately, all that brightness fades quickly. What remains is something reminiscent of soap, or even like homemade soap bubbles with a barely noticeable hint of sour lime. In short, not the most successful interpretation
