Description of the composition

The composition of Rose 2018 is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Caron comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Floral, Wood, Powdery and Spicy without random overlap. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

From the first breath you sense fresh floral first notes: May rose and Rose. Exactly these 2 notes set an elegant floral wave that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you meet Geranium, Iris and Neroli holding a velvety rose-iris direction. In what remains on skin the structure settles through Sandalwood and Vanilla, reinforcing a deep woody trail.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Floral, Wood, Gourmet and Whiteflower. At family level the scent maps to Floral.

I haven't come across this rose yet. I'm curious how Caron envisions this flower. Rose in the top notes, and then powdery accents. Very intriguing 🌹
