Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Urbanite is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Chris Adams is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you catch sweet-fresh fruity first notes: Apple, Clove, Lemon and Peach. These 4 notes set thrilling fruity juiciness that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you notice Honey, Jasmine, Orange blossom, Rose, Violet and ylang-ylang keeping a creamy tuberose direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Fruit, Spicy, Citrus and Sweet. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Floral, Wood and Musk.

Taken together Urbanite sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is kinda weird. Fruits, yeah, there are a lot, bright lemons, but ylang-ylang with clove in honey just doesn't quite work, like the fruits are out of place here. To my nose, this perfume is too muddled 😅
