Fragrance information:

The Character and Mood of the Fragrance

Cindy C. The Diamond Powder is a women's eau de parfum with an expressive powdery character and a very strong sillage.

The composition belongs to the floral and oriental fragrance families, combining soft cosmetic powderiness, a radiant solar accent and the warm sweetness of vanilla.

This fragrance is for those who enjoy a noticeable presence and want their perfume to remain recognizable around them rather than dissolve into the air.

The name The Diamond Powder perfectly conveys the impression of the composition: its mood is reminiscent of a fine, shimmering powder applied to the skin.

At the same time, the fragrance is not limited to delicate airiness. It has the richness of white flowers, the creamy depth of woody notes and a spicy-gourmand nuance of tonka bean.

Thanks to this contrast, the scent is simultaneously feminine, seductive and striking.

The Perfume and the Brand's Style

The fragrance was created by Cindy C., a French niche brand founded in 1994.

From the very beginning, the brand presented itself as a bold experimenter, and The Diamond Powder continues this approach: classic floral femininity receives a richer, more radiant and sensual interpretation here.

There is no information about the year of release, the perfumer, the collection or other concentrations, so it is best to consider this fragrance on its own, through its character, note pyramid and behavior on the skin.

This is a cohesive release focused on impression, sillage and a recognizable powdery-floral texture.

How the Composition Develops

At the opening, powdery and solar notes create a soft, luminous introduction.

Iris and tuberose then join them: iris adds a cool, silky quality, while tuberose makes the heart fuller, more white-floral and sensual.

In the base, sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla form a warm, creamy and slightly spicy accord that lingers on the skin for a long time.

Longevity and Wearability

The very strong sillage makes The Diamond Powder a noticeable choice for evenings, special occasions and situations when you want to emphasize your look with a fragrant accent.

The eau de parfum reveals itself especially expressively in cool weather, although fans of rich compositions can wear it in other seasons as well, using a moderate application.

No precise recommendations for the number of sprays on skin or clothing are available.

Given its intense sillage, it is sensible to start with a small number of sprays and evaluate the development after a few minutes: the powdery-solar opening gradually becomes creamier, more floral and more vanilla-woody.

On fabric, the fragrance may smell denser and last longer, so it is best to use a cautious dosage on clothing.

Who Will Enjoy The Diamond Powder

This fragrance will appeal to women who enjoy powdery, white-floral, gourmand and oriental compositions with a noticeable base.

It does not try to be neutral or discreet: The Diamond Powder creates a warm, radiant cloud around the wearer and complements elegant, evening and romantic looks particularly well.

If you would like to compare it with more recognizable fragrances in a similar style, consider Carolina Herrera Good Girl.

However, The Diamond Powder comes across as more powdery and creamy, with a distinctive emphasis on iris, tuberose and vanilla.

As a result, it retains the sensuality of the floral-oriental style, but expresses it through a soft, cosmetic and shimmering character.

Description of the composition

Fragrance Notes Pyramid

The top notes of The Diamond Powder open with powdery and sunny nuances, creating a bright, soft and slightly cosmetic first impression.

At the heart of the composition, iris and tuberose unfold: the cool velvety character of iris meets the rich, white-floral sensuality of tuberose.

The base reveals sandalwood, tonka bean and vanilla, adding creamy warmth, sweetness and woody depth to the fragrance.

The overall character of the notes pyramid is built around a combination of floral, powdery, mineral, spicy, gourmand and woody nuances.

As a result, the fragrance develops with impressive volume, from a radiant powdery opening to a warm, soft and long-lasting trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

A sweet, calm fragrance about soft femininity. To me it smells like rich face powder with delicate tuberose in it. You can feel a retro touch here, but not museum-like, more like the recent past

While the bottle was on its way, I took a look at the note pyramid and wondered why I'd ordered a fragrance with tuberose, which I'm usually indifferent to. But in the end, it turned out to be a great one. Creamy, soft tuberose blends with the scent of warm skin after tanning. It comes across bright and summery. Not the best choice for a damp northwestern climate - it belongs on vacation by a hot coast
