Fragrance information:

Simply Clinique arrived in 2004 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. A feminine fragrance from the fruit and floral families. This scent was born from the partnership of Ron Winnegrad and Raymond Matts. Available as eau de parfum.

The sillage is delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Made in the United States. Simply Clinique — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Simply unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Clinique is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Abstract, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms Middle suggests confident staying power. In diffusion Weak shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

From the first breath you meet sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Melon and White Flowers.

In the middle phase you sense Soy holding a soft nectarous direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Fruit, Whiteflower, Musk and Gourmet. The palette also extends to Wood and Floral. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral and Fruit.

Overall Simply holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
