Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Black Collection Whiskey is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Commodity is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

In the top tier you detect vibrant berry first notes: Blackcurrant, Plum and Violet. Exactly these 3 notes form sweet sensation of summer nectar that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you meet Lavender, Patchouli, Sage and Wormwood keeping a cool herbal direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Fruit, Floral, Green and Wood. It also reaches into Aromatic, Animals, Gourmet and Whiteflower.

Taken together Black Collection Whiskey reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. The perfume is warm, with spicy notes, but honestly, it doesn't impress with its depth and richness. Rather, you feel not the whiskey itself, but the oak barrel in which it matures and gains power. It unfolds best in autumn
