Fragrance information:

In 2022, Dolce & Gabbana introduced Dolce Lily — a fragrance that's hard to forget. A feminine fragrance belonging to the fruit and floral families. The fragrance belongs to the musk, fruit, and floral groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of gourmet and whiteflower can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Part of the Dolce collection, available as eau de parfum.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. For fabric application, 1-2 sprays are plenty. The longevity of this fragrance is moderate — exactly what most occasions call for. Produced in Italy, and you can feel it in every note. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Dolce Lily is shaped as an expressive line of development, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The style of Dolce & Gabbana comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Floral, Fruit, Gourmet and Musk. It also reaches into Whiteflower, Citrus and Wood.

In the first seconds you detect radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot and Passion fruit.

When the opening settles you detect Lily and Rose holding a silky white floral direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

Taken together Dolce Lily reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is actually quite basic and flat. Lily is clearly there, but it smells a bit too soapy somehow. Over time, the bitterness fades, and a powdery sweetness appears, but unfortunately, that soapy note just doesn't disappear

This fragrance clearly has more fruits than floral notes. Personally, I prefer to wear it only in summer, when I want something refreshing. It smells a bit like shower gel, which isn't always a good thing

If you don't try this new product from last year's collection, you might think it and the lily are the same. But actually, I liked the rose more! Lily doesn't convey the real smell of the flower, rather some composite image with a bitterish tint. Gradually it goes into sweet powder, and this sweetness is a completely different matter
