Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Ambre d'Orsay is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of D'Orsay is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets the right density and pace of development.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Ambergris, Cedar, Leather accord, Oak moss, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Tobacco. In this format 7 notes act as one coherent layer, building a sense of noble depth that reads as cohesive from the start.

The middle and base stages are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Wood, Amber and Leather with each one in a clear role.
