Description of the composition

The composition of Bergamotto di Positano unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Floris comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Amber without random overlap. Additional accords such as Spicy and Marine enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Mandarin and Marine accord.

In the middle phase you notice Ginger, Green Tea, Orange blossom and Vanilla keeping a warm-spicy direction.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Ambery, Aquatic, Citrus and Drinks. The framework further includes Gourmet, Green, Spicy and Whiteflower.

In summary Bergamotto di Positano sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Bergamot with a salty nuance, a bit of tea, and piquant ginger. This scent surprisingly both cools and warms at the same time. It's fresh, with delicate sweet notes of vanilla. It suits both men and women - that's already been tested

Bergamot, sure, it's not bad, but I can't say it impressed me. Mandarin and orange blossom seem okay, but something's missing. Ginger, yeah, it's interesting, but green tea doesn't save the situation, it just adds softness, not brightness. Vanilla and spices warm things up a bit, but the marine notes just throw me off. They feel forced, and it's annoying. Overall, it's a fougère perfume, but nothing more 😒
