Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Mahon Leather is shaped as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Floris comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch sparkling citrus first notes: Citrus accord and Jasmine. Exactly these 2 notes build sunny vitality that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you detect Iris, Leather accord, Saffron and Vetiver holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Amber add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Whiteflower, Floral and Leather. The palette also extends to Spicy, Wood, Ambery and Balsamic.

Taken together Mahon Leather reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.
