The note pyramid of Checkmate evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of P. Frapin & Cie Parfums comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Floral and Leather. The palette also extends to Ambery, Musk and Wood. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Leather and Wood.

From the first breath you meet radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Cardamom and Lemon.

In the heart you sense Heliotrope, Iris and Leather accord keeping a opulent floral direction.
