Perfumer Biography

David Frossard is one of the most influential figures in the world of contemporary niche perfumery. His journey into the industry began unexpectedly: while studying philosophy at the Sorbonne and planning an academic career, he joined the sales department of L'Artisan Parfumeur in 2000. This experience proved fateful and awakened in him a deep interest in the world of fragrances. Moving beyond sales, Frossard quickly mastered all the intricacies of the perfume business, taking on the role of export director, and in 2005, he took a bold step and founded his own distribution company, Différentes Latitudes, which became a bridge between independent perfume houses and the world.

Founder and Creative Director

Under Frossard's leadership, Différentes Latitudes introduced many unique brands to the world. One of the first and most significant projects was the P. Frapin & Cie Parfums brand, where he not only handled distribution but also headed up the creative direction in 2012, giving the world iconic fragrances. However, the perfumer's true magnum opus was the creation of the Les Liquides Imaginaires brand in 2011, in collaboration with designer Philippe Di Meo. This project became his main creative laboratory, where Frossard acts as creative director and ideological inspirer, embodying complex philosophical and artistic concepts in fragrances.
