Introducing Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green—a true old-school classic launched in 1986. This eau de toilette for men belongs to the spicy and woody fragrance families.
The fragrance has a moderate sillage and excellent longevity: we recommend 1 to 2 sprays on the skin and the same amount on clothing.
The Geoffrey Beene brand embodies the spirit of nonconformist American elegance, born from the genius of designer Geoffrey Beene.
His first clothing collection was shown in New York in 1963, and since 1975, the fashion world has also been enriched by a fragrance line.
Bowling Green is an ode to freshness and confidence—a fragrance for men who appreciate style and quality.
This perfume is ideal for daytime wear, especially in spring and summer. Its spicy-woody character is perfect for everyday outings, work, or casual gatherings.
Thanks to its moderate sillage, Bowling Green makes enough of a statement to be noticed without being overpowering. Don’t be afraid to experiment—it performs beautifully on both skin and fabric.
If you enjoy Bowling Green, take a look at Monotheme Fine Fragrances Venezia Aqva Marina, Byredo Sunday Cologne Eau de Cologne, and Antonio Banderas The Icon.
They share a similar mood of freshness and spice.

The fragrance is highly persistent and lasts on the skin for up to 8–10 hours, gradually revealing its notes and allowing you to enjoy the full bouquet throughout the day
It can be felt in close proximity, but does not attract the attention of those around you
The perfume has a fresh scent that is not too intense, so it does not overwhelm those around you with strong essences
A light and elegant fragrance with harmonious richness—the perfect balance between the depth of eau de parfum and the freshness of cologne
Fragrances for spring and summer unfold with light citrus notes, floral and fruity accords, filling the composition with freshness, airiness, and a feeling of carefree lightness on warm days
The composition opens with a vibrant accord of bergamot, lemon, and orange, enhanced by basil, cloves, and juniper berries.
At its heart is a spicy blend of cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg, softened by lavender and jasmine. The base is composed of sandalwood, patchouli, and rosewood, with touches of amber and spruce.

Out of all this variety, my nose mainly picks up geranium, pepper, and pine needles, but it smells very harmonious and well-balanced, without a chemical aftertaste. The scent is perfect for autumn and early spring, maybe even for winter, though I have more intense options for colder weather 😊 All in all, this is exactly what's needed, and it's hard to find something like this now, especially in luxury brands, and even in niche perfumery you'd have to search. And the price is simply fantastic; for this money, such a fragrance is a real gem! 😊
