Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Onde Vertige is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Giorgio Armani is clear from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

In the first seconds you catch petal-airy first notes: Frangipani and Jasmine. These 2 notes form the effect of a living bouquet that is impossible to miss.

In the central layer you meet Licorice holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction. In what remains on skin the structure settles through Frankincense and Patchouli, shaping a thick resinous trail.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Wood and Spicy without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Floral, Whiteflower, Spicy and Balsamic. The framework further includes Wood and Gourmet. At family level the fragrance belongs to East and Floral.

Overall Onde Vertige holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The combination of jasmine with frondiroum is truly surprising, although the latter here sounds like a slight hint. This fragrance stands out for its unusualness and constantly attracts attention 🌼

Escada New, in my opinion, still sounds more artificial. But in this fragrance, the composition is much cleaner. I was particularly impressed by the jasmine, which is interpreted in an oriental style here, and patchouli adds a special depth to it. I've always liked oriental notes, and in this perfume, they are presented very originally

For the second day, I've been holding a blotter with this scent, trying to remember where and when I smelled it. And just now I realized - it's Escada New! But in this fragrance, especially in its sillage, there are bright and rich notes of jasmine. Escada's sillage is a bit lighter. Overall, I could easily confuse one scent with the other!!! It's truly a mysterious smell that leaves many questions
