Identity and Release History

The fragrance Giorgio Armani Rouge Malachite, launched in 2016, is a jewel in the crown of Giorgio Armani.

This house, since 1982, has been renowned for impeccable style and emotional depth, and Rouge Malachite fully reflects this philosophy.

It belongs to the exclusive collection Armani Prive Terres Precieuses, which is dedicated to precious lands and symbolizes luxury and refinement.

The name "Rouge Malachite" refers to malachite — a stone known for its rich green hues and associated with wealth and protection.

This emphasizes the uniqueness and value of the fragrance in the brand's lineup, making it coveted by connoisseurs of fine perfumery.

Positioning and Wearability

This women's perfume in the form of perfume water has a medium trail, making it ideal for creating a memorable yet unobtrusive image.

For optimal application, it is recommended to use 1 to 2 sprays on the skin and the same on clothing to enjoy its longevity throughout the evening.

Rouge Malachite unfolds as a sensual and warm composition, perfectly suited for autumn-winter months but also capable of adding refinement to spring or summer evenings.

Its rich floral character with oriental accents often attracts compliments, making it a choice for self-confident women who value depth and elegance.

Authors and Influence

The creator of this fragrance is the perfumer Pascal Gaurin, a master of complex and emotional compositions.

His work on Rouge Malachite demonstrates the ability to combine modern trends with classical elements, fully aligning with the DNA of the Giorgio Armani brand.

This release strengthens the house's position in the world of high perfumery, offering a fragrance that has become a symbol of sophistication and luxury.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Giorgio Armani Rouge Malachite begins its dance with the top notes, where clary sage and pink pepper create a spicy-aromatic introduction, complemented by delicate tuberose.

In the heart of the composition, rich floral chords unfold: jasmine, orange blossom and ylang-ylang, softened by benzoin and cashmeran.

The base of the fragrance immerses into warm and sensual tones thanks to amber, musk and returning tuberose, creating a long-lasting and enveloping finale.

This complex structure encompasses groups of amber, aromatic, balsamic, musk, spicy and white floral notes, uniting them into a harmonious and memorable whole.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Tuberose really stands out here, but the spices and citruses seem to hide it. The fragrance, despite its lightness, is actually very rich and full-bodied. It's like it envelops you, creating an atmosphere of celebration. Armani, it seems, really wanted to do something special for Russian women. It's definitely a beautiful gesture, but there's something sad about it, as if sorrow is hidden behind all that beauty)))

Tuberose is just in excess here - so sweet, sticky, and a bit heady 😍 Amber and neroli try to support it, but I still feel like I'm drowning in this tuberose honey. But I really loved the green malachite, even decided to buy it! 💚 As for the Red one - it's pure tuberose sweetness. But the fragrance doesn't feel like something rushed; it truly conveys a sense of sensual luxury, the scent of a woman everyone adores and is ready to lay the most precious gems at her feet. When love is so strong it just takes your breath away! 💖

The bottle is just stunning, but the scent... it gives me mixed feelings. Feminine, yes, but almost too intrusive. There's sweetness, but not in a pleasant way. Tuberose, of course, is front and center, but pink pepper and musk make it heavy. Citrus adds a bit of freshness, but overall, this combination just leaves me with a sad feeling

The tuberose scent has its unique character. On the one hand, it's nice that the focus isn't just on it. It's artfully hidden, allowing you to unravel the composition note by note. The bottle looks really striking, even luxurious✨

The tuberose in this fragrance really shines in a complex, multi-layered composition. It's rich, with a light spicy note, and that red bottle looks super stylish and classy. The collection's inspired by Russia, and each scent is just so unique and interesting in its own way 🌟

This fragrance would make a great gift for a woman who appreciates complex and beautiful compositions. Every time I use it, I put it on my wrist, walk around, and just ponder. The tuberose in it is really bright, sometimes even a little overwhelming. But if you set aside your personal preferences, it's simply magnificent

The scent is definitely impressive, it's so soft and velvety, like it's wrapping around you. The bottle really brings to mind something luxurious. But for me, it's too intense, the tuberose is too prominent, it even pricks my nose a bit. If it were less overbearing, maybe I would have loved it 😕

The scent is soft, creamy, and ambery, with sensual white flowers. There's no overload of floral notes here, which often happens with similar compositions. It adds a touch of sexuality and is truly captivating! 🌸

After I found out that The Body Shop's "Nigritella" perfume was discontinued, I started looking for something similar. And here, I found it. Of course, it's not exactly what I was looking for, but it's close. Nigritella was more delicate and fresh, and this scent, although pleasing with its sound, still doesn't quite measure up. Malachite, of course, pleased me, but the price being three times higher is just an outrage 😒 P.S. My husband gifted it to me, these are his favorite perfumes on me. Usually, I don't pay attention to his opinion, but I decided to note that this is his choice

The fragrance is warm, sweet, and spicy, with an emphasis on white flowers. The tuberose here is simply gorgeous, it's so bright and assertive it overshadows everything else! It really shines in winter and cool autumn

Tuberose, as if sugared, just an incredibly sweet and rich scent. On my skin, it opened up completely differently, becoming softer and more delicate. I really liked it, but my friends weren't into it. I swapped the full bottle for two other fragrances, and kept this one in a decant

I tried a mini version of the fragrance. At first, I really liked it: warm, spicy, feminine - perfect for cold weather. I could feel it on myself and was floating on cloud nine. But then the real trouble started - headaches, and not just one. It's a real shame, the scent is truly beautiful, but it chokes me. Time to keep looking for my unique tuberose
