Description of the composition

The fragrance pyramid of Eau de Givenchy Rosee begins with a vibrant start, where Apricot and Mandarin offer juicy fruity freshness, complemented by the tenderness of Osmanthus and the sophistication of Green Tea.

In the heart of the composition, floral facets unfold: Rose adds romance, Jasmine brings white floral depth, and Water Hyacinth introduces aquatic coolness.

The base of the fragrance concludes with warm and sensual notes: White Musk envelops with a gentle trail, and Patchouli imparts woody stability, creating a harmonious finish.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. François Demachy's perfumery, the modern version of Eau de Givenchy, evokes mixed feelings. If it hadn't been stated that this was a reissue of the original, perhaps the novelty would have been received more simply. The flowers appear bright, but as if trapped in a soapy shell. Instead of exquisite notes, there's the sweetness of honey and neroli with a slightly dirty musk.

This spring saw the release of the flanker Eau de Givenchy Rosée. As Valery already noted, roses are currently in vogue. Demachy's composition is calm, like a petal falling on grass. Dew sparkles, collected from morning buds, and above it - a sky in mandarin color. The fragrance begins with a cold breeze, not at all spring-like. Roses hide in a cotton collar, crisp like snow. Petals falling from the bush resemble snowflakes melting on hands.

Gradually, it becomes warmer: an apricot blush appears with a light golden hue and white flowers, as if washed with baby shampoo. And suddenly - everything around is covered in powder!! Towards the end, the milky whiteness disappears, and against the powdery background, the outlines of roses begin to emerge - thornless, on slender stems. They faintly smell of greens and soap, with a light plastic nuance, like packaging film.

The fragrance stays close to the skin, like dwarf rose bushes clinging to the ground. Yes, Eau de Givenchy Rosée is not the original. Roses can be more interesting: with spices or tobacco. But one can imagine how it envelops the skin in the heat, creating a sensation of coolness. To be protected by powdered petals amidst glass and concrete - that truly is joie de vivre

The scent is truly delicate and light, with a noticeable freshness and transparency. It seems very refined. I really liked it, it's so distinctly feminine, unlike the previous version 🌸

I love that I have a full bottle. I also liked this fragrance, even though I was thrilled with its predecessor. On me, I feel the freshness of osmanthus and a delicate rose. It reminds me of dawn, when the sun is just starting to rise. A humid freshness, like on a spring day when everything around is blooming. It's like putting on a silk dress and feeling joy. Simply magnificent! And yes, this is indeed one of the versions of the Queen of flowers, the rose

I understand that it takes time to get acquainted with perfumes, but I still want to share my first impressions. I did two sprays on my elbows, and this scent just overwhelmed me! Next time, I should probably reduce the amount, because even on cold days, it's too intense for me!!!

I can't say this fragrance impressed me. At first, it seems very fresh, even too much, like just out of the shower. Then a rose appears, but it's so watery it reminds me of Trussardi's "Delicate Rose". This fragrance also has green tea, but the fruit notes are barely noticeable. I can't pinpoint apricot, it's more just something light. The base is quite musky with patchouli notes. Longevity is like a regular cologne, so nothing special overall

Absolutely unbearable rose, so watery it seems like it's just diluted. Creamy musk adds some heaviness, and the fruits at the beginning don't save the situation at all. For summer? No, it's more for hiding your feelings in the heat. There's almost no sweetness, just some faded freshness reminiscent of an cologne that someone forgot to close. And the design? It looks like someone tried to make something cute, but in reality, it's just a pink marshmallow that has already lost its taste 😒

The fragrance turned out really wonderful, it's so summery and soft, like morning dew on flowers. The bottle design perfectly conveys its essence, just a 100% hit. The most noticeable notes are morning rose, osmanthus (unclear if it gives an apricot nuance or if apricot is present on its own), green tea, and a very delicate musk in the background. Patchouli in the base is almost imperceptible. Longevity, unfortunately, isn't very high - it lasts about 4 hours on the skin, and the sillage is close to the skin 🌸

Out of all this summer's new releases, I only liked two, and that's quite unexpected. The first is Dolce Peony, a simple fruity joy, and the second is Rose de Givenchy, which is just incredibly feminine and light. At first, the scent seemed too harsh to me, with a real tartness of rose at the beginning. But then, as it develops, it becomes so fresh and clean. On my skin, the rose isn't as prominent, but apricot, tobacco, and delicate musk sound very beautiful. I definitely want to try it

"Concentrated dew, collected from beautiful flowers early on a beautiful morning" - that's how this perfume is described on the official website. Honestly, I believe it one hundred percent! The design is simply gorgeous - such tenderness! I have its green counterpart, Eau de Givenchy (2018), which is more suitable for unisex, but this pink one seems clearly feminine. I can't wait to try it! :)

This scent seems to be only suitable for spring. I have one sample, and another ran out in March. Outdoors, it smelled like a delicate, crystalline apricot or peach tea. But now I feel the rose emerging, and it adds a tartness that I don't like. On one hand, I like it, but on the other, it makes me cautious. It's interesting that I'm writing about it for the third time, so there must be something to it

I dreamed about it for a long time, but in the end I tried a couple of samples. At first, it seemed fruity, with apricot notes, but then, as my nose got used to it, the rose emerged, and honestly, it was too much. The tartness with the rose became too intrusive

The top notes of this fragrance delight with the citrus freshness of mandarin, adding a spicy hint of osmanthus and the lightness of tea leaves. In the heart of the perfume, a luxurious floral bouquet unfolds with rose, jasmine, and hyacinth. Gradually, the floral notes subside, giving way to a silky base where the warmth of patchouli and the softness of white musk create an incredible sensation. It's simply a feast for the senses! ))))

The scent is truly luxurious and expensive, yet it doesn't overwhelm your nose. It's probably the most pleasant of all my perfumes. It starts to develop on the skin after about an hour, becoming softer and less sharp. I adore it! )))

I pick up a subtle scent of rose, the freshness of green tea, and the sweetness of apricot. This perfume is perfect for everyday wear, especially on a Sunday morning after a shower when you want to relax. Even though it's considered feminine, I really liked it and would gladly buy it

It didn't make much of an impression. The fruits aren't noticeable; it's more like a sweet compote. Plus, there's some freshness from floral notes. Too much sugar for my taste. Overall, simple and pleasant, but nothing more
