Fragrance information:

Hilde Soliani Hot Milk is a vibrant unisex fragrance released in 2016 as part of the Senshilde Collection.

It was created by the brand’s founder herself, perfumer Hilde Soliani.

This is an eau de parfum (EDP) with a very strong sillage (very strong), belonging to the oriental olfactory family and gourmand fragrances.

Story and Concept

Hot Milk is an olfactory interpretation of hot milk, presented through the lens of Hilde Soliani’s unrestrained imagination.

The perfumer invites you to forget stereotypes and imagine the scent of a drink heated to its limit: delicate creaminess collides with fiery pepper, creating an unforgettable contrast.

The fragrance breaks free from the boundaries of familiar gourmand compositions, offering a sense of comfort with a spicy kick.

Character and Impression

The trail of Hot Milk is so powerful that the fragrance becomes a true statement. It is perfect for those seeking something unique and unafraid of experimentation.

Thanks to its unisex formula, the perfume unfolds differently on every wearer’s skin, yet always leaves the impression of a bold, memorable presence.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The Hot Milk composition is built around an unexpected yet harmonious duet of two notes: fiery chili pepper and milk.

The spice of pepper warms the creamy base, creating the effect of “hot milk” with a piquant accent.

The fragrance develops linearly: from the very first seconds, you feel a searing heat that gently melts into a velvety milky cloud, leaving a warm, comforting trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This perfume seems to be only for hot weather or for skin that's naturally warm. On me, I smell that milky note, and it's actually not bad, but, dang, it disappears so fast. Then only some neutral sweetness with musk remains, and that's just not it 😒

I can't say this scent impressed me. The combination of notes creates a strange feeling, like you're inhaling something chemical. At first, it seems like black pepper, but then some milkiness appears, and it should be interesting. But this chemical aftertaste just bothers me, reminds me of something unpleasant, and in the end, the fragrance was more disappointing than pleasing 😒
