Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Fugue evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Ikiryo is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a warm incense mood: Benzoin, Blackcurrant, Castoreum, Frankincense, Iso E Super, Pineapple and Rum. In this format 7 notes act as one integrated frame, building meditative density that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The deeper layers are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Gourmet and Fruit without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Alcoholic enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Fruit, Animals and Wood. The palette also extends to Drinks, Sweet, Floral and Gourmet.

In summary Fugue holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.
