Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Waiting For Sunset is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Jacques Battini is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

In the first seconds you sense vibrant berry first notes: Apple, Blackcurrant, Lemon and Peach. Exactly these 4 notes build sweet sensation of summer nectar that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you detect Jasmine, Patchouli, Rose and Violet keeping a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Fruit, Citrus, Whiteflower and Wood. The palette also extends to Floral, Gourmet and Musk. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral, Musk and Wood.

Taken together Waiting For Sunset holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. How sad it is to realize that this fragrance, though sweet, leaves behind only a slight melancholy. You feel the brightness of its sound, its warmth, but something about it just doesn't sit right. Fruits and flowers are mixed, but I can't tell which is more prominent. The quality, of course, is top-notch, but wearing it feels somehow uncomfortable. It seems pleasant, but at the same time, something feels off

Too sweet blackcurrant syrup clearly dominates here, and that raises questions for me about the essence of the fragrance. It's a bit flat, but, in principle, it can be used 🍇

The fragrance is really interesting, the combination of fruits and rose creates a vivid impression. Vanilla and patchouli in the base add depth, but the pear with blackcurrant-that's something else! It's so rich, almost like sweet jam. You can tell the quality is top-notch. But I can't say it's straightforward-there's something mysterious about it that makes you think )
