Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of De L'ambre Violette is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Jacques Battini is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Whiteflower and Floral. The framework further includes Wood, Gourmet and Musk. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral, Musk and Wood.

From the first breath you sense vibrant berry opening notes: Lemon, Peach and Raspberry.

At the core of development you sense Jasmine and Peony carrying a silky white floral direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together De L'ambre Violette sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Sweet raspberry with a floral touch and sharp citrus notes at the beginning. Not bad, like many other expensive fruity-floral fragrances. But, honestly, it lacks something special. It might deserve attention, but nothing more
