Fragrance information:

In 2013, Jaguar introduced Classic Red For Men — a fragrance that's hard to forget. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the fern and wood families. The fragrance was crafted by perfumer Karine Dubreuil. Classic Red For Men is part of the Classic collection. In eau de toilette — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

The longevity is very low — a light cloud that fades quickly. Country of origin — the United Kingdom. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The composition of Classic Red For Men is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Jaguar is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Spicy and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Mineral, Ambery, Wood and Gourmet.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense sweet-fresh fruity opening notes: Bergamot, Blueberry and Raspberry.

At the core of development you detect Black Pepper, Jasmine and Ozone holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Abstract, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Fruit, Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In summary Classic Red For Men sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Extremely low (up to 1 hour)
1
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Extremely inconspicuous
1
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is clearly for those who like to stand out, like someone speeding in a red sports car. For a serious man, I think choosing raspberry as his sillage isn't ideal. You need to be a bit eccentric to go for such a perfume. Overall, it's quite pleasant and interesting. I detect blueberry, raspberry, chypre, and amber in it. A woman with character might be able to get along with this fragrance
