Fragrance information:

The house of Jaguar gifted the world with Classic Motion in 2013. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the fern and water families. Perfumer Karine Dubreuil left a distinct mark on this composition. From the Classic collection; released as eau de toilette.

It has a delicate sillage, staying close and personal. It's quite fleeting: longevity is very low, so feel free to reapply generously. Brand country — the United Kingdom: a place that truly knows its way around a great scent. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Classic Motion is built as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Jaguar comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the first breath you sense radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot, Birch, Lemon and Mint.

In the middle phase you notice Black Pepper, Coriander, Lavender and Marine accord holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Powdery, Amber, Spicy and Marine add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Very low indicates a stable lasting impression.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Wood, Aromatic and Spicy. The palette also extends to Green, Aquatic, Ambery and Floral.

Taken together Classic Motion reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Extremely low (up to 1 hour)
1
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Imperceptible
2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This mojito scent is just explosive! Minty and limey, it fills the air with freshness, but that pinch of black pepper adds a bit of spice. Interesting, but you can't sniff it for too long, it's too intrusive!!
