Description of the composition

Note Pyramid of Jil Sander Sun Bath

The Sun Bath composition begins its journey with a refreshing burst of top notes: aquatic chord and calone give a cool freshness, while freesia and pink pepper add playful and spicy accents, creating an energetic start.

In the heart of the fragrance, warm and floral tones unfold: orange blossom fills the air with honeyed tartness, rose imparts a velvety tenderness, and ylang-ylang introduces exotic spiciness, forming a rich and intoxicating bouquet.

The perfume's base completes the composition with a sensual trail, where tonka beans create smoky-spicy notes, vanilla adds sweet warmth, and musk ensures a gentle and long-lasting resonance on the skin, leaving behind a warm and intimate trace.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This scent leaves a bitter aftertaste. Marine notes, like a cold wind, pierce the soul, but they don't bring joy. Barely there flowers only slightly sweeten it, but can't hide the overall melancholy. Summer, sure, but its freshness feels fleeting, like a memory of something you can't get back

How pleasant it is to feel this sweetish-fresh aquatic note! Though, I admit, the fragrance isn't entirely unique and reminds me of much that I've encountered before. Alas, it didn't quite click for me

The bottle really lives up to expectations, but the scent itself is kinda watery. An aquatic note immediately hits your nose, then you get a stuffy frangipani and a sweetish vanilla. Overall, this combination just leaves me feeling sad

The smell of aquatics with frangipani, sharp green notes and pepper - that's not for me. I can't stand scents like that and don't wear them 😒

Modern perfume trends show an interesting combination of sweet floral notes and salty accents. However, the aquatic notes here are too harsh and clearly synthetic. The bottle definitely catches the eye, but the composition itself doesn't impress me. I'm not against salty scents, but they should be done at a higher level. Here, the aquatic note reminds me of classic air fresheners, which is not pleasing at all!!

The ylang sweetness is a bit muddled, and the aquatic notes are salty. They smell decent once they settle down, but when they're prominent, there's a strange chemical aftertaste that just prevents me from enjoying the fragrance
