Fragrance information:

Nin-Shar Jul et Mad, brought to life in 2015, sits firmly in the category of a unisex fragrance, falling within the east family. The fragrance was crafted by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur. By character, it falls into the balsamic, floral, and gourmet groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of whiteflower and wood can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Created within the White collection and available in perfume extract.

Expect a moderate sillage — enough to be remembered, not enough to overwhelm. This fragrance doesn't rush to leave — you can count on high longevity. France is where this fragrance comes from — and it shows. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Nin-Shar unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Jul et Mad is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

In the first seconds you catch invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot, Rose and Wormwood.

In the middle phase you notice Jasmine, Patchouli and Rose holding a sensual jasmine direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence High indicates a stable lasting impression.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic, Floral, Gourmet and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Wood, Citrus and Green.

In summary Nin-Shar sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Rose with berries, with patchouli and amber in the background. The berry note clearly dominates, while the other scents seem to hide. At first, there's a light alcoholic accent, creating a sparkling sensation, but it's not quite like champagne. It's more like a rosé wine, with a few bubbles. Somewhere deep down, there's a barely perceptible animalic nuance, but it blends so harmoniously with the woody notes that it doesn't even bother me. I've already found my ideal rose, but I definitely wouldn't say no to this bottle 🌹

The Eastern rose among all these incenses and patchouli looks quite appealing, but they didn't add frankincense, and that's perhaps the only thing that's pleasing. Although it might not be churchy, it still evokes unpleasant associations. The scent, of course, is beautiful and sensual, but there's something too heavy, even tiring, about it. The wine nuance gives it an intoxicating note, but overall it's not something I'd want to wear

A burgundy rose, mature and large, like a shadow over dark, rich earth. Rosé liqueur served for dessert, and a lightly grilled steak, evoke only bitter memories. The fragrance, created by Sidonie Lancesseur from Robertet, leaves a heavy aftertaste. Two percent Damask rose absolute, and here it is - a floral-woody bouquet with fruity and animalic notes. All this is dedicated to Nin-Shar, goddess of gardens, but the feeling from the scent is more oppressive than joyful
