Identity and Release History

In 2013, the world of perfumery saw the launch of Kenzo Couleur Rose-Pink — a fragrance that instantly won the hearts of fans of exquisite scents.

This women's perfume, known in Russia as "Kenzo Rose Pink," became part of the Couture collection by Kenzo, a brand that creates a vibrant bridge between East and West.

Founded by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada, Kenzo has embodied a bold philosophy since 1970, rejecting rigid boundaries, and Couleur Rose-Pink continues this tradition, offering a modern interpretation of floral elegance.

Released in an era when the perfume industry was seeking fresh approaches, this fragrance quickly became a symbol of sophistication and lightness.

It fits perfectly into the Kenzo lineup, emphasizing the brand's pursuit of harmony between cultures and emotions.

For those seeking something special, Couleur Rose-Pink is not just a perfume, but a story told through scents.

Fragrance Pyramid and Its Development

The composition of Kenzo Couleur Rose-Pink begins with a refreshing start: top notes of angelica (angelica) and grapefruit create an invigorating and green chord that awakens the senses and brings a feeling of freshness.

This initial stage doesn't last long, smoothly transitioning to the heart of the fragrance.

In the middle note, the soul of the perfume is revealed: rose combined with saffron forms a warm and sensual bouquet.

Rose adds floral tenderness, and saffron brings spicy depth, making the composition multifaceted and intriguing.

On the skin, this stage develops gradually, enveloping the aura with a soft, almost hypnotic charm.

The base note of musk anchors the fragrance, giving it longevity and a subtle sensuality.

The musk here is not intrusive but barely perceptible, creating a trail that stays with you throughout the day.

The development from start to base resembles a journey: from morning freshness to warm evening, perfectly adapting to mood and moment.

Positioning and Wearability

Kenzo Couleur Rose-Pink is positioned as a women's fragrance, but its versatility allows it to be worn by those who appreciate delicate scents.

With a barely perceptible trail, it is ideal for daily use — in the office, on a date, or to create a light accent.

As Eau de Parfum, it offers moderate longevity without overwhelming those around you.

This fragrance is perfect for warm seasons — spring and summer, when you desire freshness and a floral mood.

It is complimentary and recognizable thanks to the unique combination of notes, yet remains unobtrusive.

For optimal effect, it is recommended to apply it to pulse points on the skin, allowing body heat to help reveal all facets of the composition.

Creators and Impact on the Brand

The creation of Kenzo Couleur Rose-Pink involved talented perfumers Jean Jacques and Sylvie Fischer, whose experience allowed them to achieve a balance between floral lightness and oriental depth.

Their collaboration gave the fragrance that very refinement which reflects the DNA of Kenzo — boldness, elegance, and cultural synthesis.

This release strengthened Kenzo's reputation as a brand that creates fragrances with character.

Couleur Rose-Pink became an example of how modern trends can harmonize with classical elements, attracting a new audience while remaining true to its roots.

For the Couture collection, it added a note of romance, enriching its palette and showing that Kenzo continues to innovate in the world of scents.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

I had a romance with rose, but it quickly became boring. At one point I liked light fragrances, without much character, those morning ones, with fruits and rose. But I changed, and it stayed the same, and now it doesn't suit me at all!!!

The rose here is very delicate, with a light spiciness and the addition of bright, slightly sour grapefruit. The scent is really pleasant, simple, and not overwhelming. It's just that the longevity leaves much to be desired 😕

Rose and grapefruit clearly dominate, and the rest of the pyramid just isn't noticeable. The scent isn't bad, but something is missing to make it truly captivating 😔

The smell of this rose is more like chemicals than something natural. I immediately threw away the tester and even washed my hands an hour later because I couldn't stand it. I simply didn't have the strength for anything more persistent! Its "yellow" sibling Jaune-Yellow, though not perfect, turned out to be much more pleasant and didn't cause such disgust. The bottle, by the way, is pretty, it's just a shame the contents are disappointing

The scent is really pleasant and light, it envelops you with its femininity. You can feel a bright grapefruit in it, as well as a delicate rose with a light touch of spices. However, the longevity leaves much to be desired, the sillage is almost imperceptible 😕

On my skin, grapefruit smells somewhat soapy, not very pleasant. I don't like angelica at all; when I tried it, I didn't even realize it was in the composition. The longevity of these fragrances leaves much to be desired. Overall, this eau de parfum really disappointed me 😕

Sometimes I choose simple fruity scents for the morning, they create a light and pleasant mood 🍏

The smell is just awful, I can't stand it. It's somehow sour and rancid, like something spoiled. I hope I got a bad tester, because something like this simply shouldn't exist 😩

Color Kenzo Rose Pink - that's not what I'd choose. I don't like pink fragrances, and this one is no exception. The composition is too simple, no originality. First, you feel a sharp citrus, but then it quickly disappears, leaving only faint notes of rose. Overall, for everyday use, it might be suitable, but it's too light and unmemorable
