Kenzo Jeu d'Amour: The Play of Love in Perfumery

Released in 2014, Kenzo Jeu d'Amour is a perfume that embodies the playful and romantic side of love through its fragrant chords.

The brand Kenzo, known as a vibrant bridge between East and West, brings its bold philosophy to this fragrance, blending tradition with modernity to create a unique perfume experience.

Jeu d'Amour belongs to the floral and fruity families, offering a multifaceted composition that emphasizes femininity and joyfulness, making it ideal for those seeking a light and inspiring scent.

Positioning and How to Wear

This women's fragrance has a medium trail, making it perfect for everyday wear, leaving a noticeable but not overwhelming impression, suitable for the office, meetings with friends, or romantic dates.

For optimal effect, it is recommended to enter the cloud of sprays on the skin so that the fragrance unfolds evenly and highlights your individuality, and for clothing — 1 to 2 sprays for longer-lasting intensity, especially in cool weather.

The concentration of perfume water ensures good longevity, allowing you to enjoy the scent all day long, from morning freshness to evening comfort.

If you liked Kenzo Jeu d'Amour, check out similar fragrances: Dior J'adore with its floral elegance, Hugo Boss Deep Red for passionate evenings, and Avon Perceive as an affordable alternative with fruity notes.

Creators and Impact on the Brand

The creation of Jeu d'Amour was worked on by talented perfumers Christophe Raynaud and Daphne Bugey, who managed to convey lightness and depth in the fragrance, characteristic of their style, combining citrus, floral, and woody chords into a harmonious whole.

This release strengthens Kenzo's reputation as a brand that experiments with emotions through perfumery, offering fragrances that tell stories of love and playfulness, while maintaining a connection with East-West aesthetics.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Tuberose lovers should pay attention to this fragrance. On the skin, it unfolds completely differently than on a blotter, where pomegranate and tea sound much brighter. The tuberose here is creamier, but on the skin, it comes through quite loudly, so it's best not to overdo the application. Tea adds softness, and sandalwood possibly brings an interesting bitterness. Overall, it's a beautiful and long-lasting scent, with the sillage remaining close to the skin

It's such a shame this scent isn't as accessible anymore. It's truly beautiful, but there's something dualistic about it that makes you think. Warm tuberose, like a gentle cream, embraces sandalwood, and freesia adds freshness. On the other hand, the fruity tea, so juicy and bright, seems to slip away. This perfume is versatile, but still more suitable for warm days 😔

The scent is really pleasant, at first it feels a bit like chewing gum. But the problem is, it stays too close to the skin and disappears quickly 😕

This scent is truly versatile, its notes seem perfectly chosen, as if specifically for every occasion and weather. The sillage isn't too strong, but 5-6 hours is pretty decent for longevity. Basically, you don't need more, it manages to set the right mood and then fades away 🤔

Firmenich perfumers, Daphne Bugey and Christophe Raynaud, created an amazing fragrance where delicate tuberose notes intertwine with a velvety sandalwood base. This combination seems to envelop you, while sweet powder, pomegranate seeds, and orange zest add brightness and freshness. Jeu d'Amour is a find for those who adore warm powdery scents where tuberose reveals itself with special magic, leaving a trail of enchantment

I really like the creamy scent, I wear it with joy. The only thing that saddens me is the longevity, I can barely smell it after an hour. Perfect for summer, it doesn't cause discomfort 🌼

The fragrance is filled with bright, juicy fruits intertwined with milky notes of white flowers. There's a lightness and freshness in this magnificent musk. It's truly pleasant and feminine, leaving a soft and delicate trail behind

This fragrance, it seems, can suit everyone. From the first accords, there's a lightness, yet it's not intrusive. Its restraint is surprising, you don't want it to scream about itself. The combination of notes is truly intriguing. It will be appropriate in any situation, but at the same time, it leaves a certain feeling of sadness

The perfume has a sweet floral scent, interwoven with fruity and citrus notes, and the composition is completed by a woody base. This is truly a beautiful and feminine fragrance that leaves a pleasant trail ))))

How pleasant it is to feel this sweetish, creamy tuberose! It harmonizes so beautifully with cool tea and fruity notes. And the base of sandalwood and delicate musk gives it all an incredible depth. This is truly a beautiful and feminine fragrance that lifts the mood! ))))

I don't even want to think about tuberose in this fragrance, I really liked it. So gentle, fresh, with a creamy texture and a slight tartness. Flowers, a bit of fruitiness, and tea - all this creates an interesting cocktail. Tuberose adds sweetness, but its medicinal nuance doesn't overpower, rather it quietly whispers. My body reacted very well to this scent, and that makes me happy

This scent will definitely take one of the top spots on my summer list! It's simply chic, such sophistication, it unfolds gradually, and the sillage - incredibly captivating and evokes only positive emotions 🌸

The fragrance is indeed interesting, but I can't say it definitively impressed me. It has something refreshing, like breathing in morning air with notes of tea and bright citruses. Pomegranate adds a bit of sweetness, and tuberose, though creamy, isn't always appropriate. Sandalwood in the base makes it soft, but not overly memorable. Longevity is decent, the sillage is also noticeable, but something about this combination leaves questions. I don't know, maybe it's just not my style

Intense berries immediately hit the nose, it seems like pomegranate is showing up so strongly. It's kind of tasty, but for me, it's too much. Later, when the pomegranate calms down a bit, a creamy tuberose note appears, and that's when I start to wonder if I like it or not 🤔
