The scent of Life Threads Platinum is built as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of La Prairie comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

In the first seconds you catch crisp leafy top notes: Galbanum, Plum and Violet leaf. These 3 notes form pure greenery effect that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the middle phase you detect Cardamom, Iris, Jasmine, Leather accord and Rose carrying a harmonious floral direction.

The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Very high points to a sustained drydown presence. In trail behavior Noticeable defines the projection profile in space.

This brand always evoked some strange feelings in me, like stepping into a fairy tale, but now it all seems like a distant mirage. Fragrance prices have skyrocketed, and now you have to hunt for remnants or decants just to get something. Chypre scents, it turns out, I like, and this fragrance is simply a discovery! It's so rich and complex, yet still understandable. An intelligent chypre with a touch of self-satisfaction, into which roses and juicy plum have been crammed. It's somehow special, but it definitely needs the right moment!!!

This fragrance certainly looks elegant, but in reality, it's too bold. Every time you smell it, it seems a bit strange, changing depending on the weather and other factors, which only adds to the overall confusion. Its longevity is truly off the charts, but that doesn't make it any better. The sillage it leaves is more oppressive than pleasing. Base notes? Yes, they're there, but not magical, rather like something intrusive 😒

Chypre is definitely for a woman with experience. A complex and rich fragrance that, frankly, I don't see on a young girl. I received it as a gift but didn't dare to use it - letting such beauty collect dust on the shelf would be wrong. In the end, I gave it to my aunt, she's vibrant and confident, just over 40. On her, it unfolds so stylishly and beautifully that I'm simply envious. I smell roses, plums, some kind of haze, and cool forest notes in it. It's something strange, I can't figure out if I like it or not 🤔
