Fragrance information:

2000 et Une Rose Lancôme, brought to life in 1999, is positioned as a feminine fragrance, drawing from the floral family. This fragrance is the personal signature of perfumer Christine Nagel. The fragrance concentration is eau de parfum.

The sillage is delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Behind this fragrance stands France and its rich perfumery heritage. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of 2000 et Une Rose unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Lancôme comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you meet piquant warm first notes: Black Pepper and Mandarin. Exactly these 2 notes shape piquant dynamism that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you notice Rose keeping a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Amber without random overlap. Additional accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence Middle suggests confident staying power.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Spicy, Citrus, Floral and Ambery. It also reaches into Green, Gourmet, Musk and Whiteflower.

Overall 2000 et Une Rose reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

3
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Rose, like a gentle whisper, blends with spices and vanilla. This fragrance, it's as if it embraces you, but at the same time leaves a feeling of emptiness. Its femininity is soft, but there's something sad in it that makes you ponder 🌹

The bottle is simply gorgeous, so stylish and elegant that you just want to hold it all the time. And the scent itself. Rose, and what a rose! No superfluous notes, just rose and a tiny bit of vanilla, but it's so subtle. This is truly a delicate, powdery scent that embraces you. For me, this is the perfect rose, exactly as it should be. After this, all other rose fragrances seem somehow rough, lacking that very femininity and naturalness. And the vanilla in them is usually sweet, like from a pastry shop, but here it's completely different, like in 2000 et Une Rose. And what's up with these limited editions? As soon as you fall in love with a fragrance, you can't find it anywhere. It's just unfair
