Summer puts perfume to the test. In the heat, even your favorite fragrance can sound different: some...
32 Venenum L'Artisan Parfumeur, that first saw the light of day in 2016, is marketed as a unisex fragrance, falling within the east and gourmet families. Perfumer Daphne Bugey is the author behind this composition. Part of the Botanique collection, available as eau de parfum.
Made in France, backed by a long and proud tradition. 32 Venenum L'Artisan Parfumeur unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.
The fragrance is very long-lasting, staying on the skin for 12 hours or more, gradually revealing its notes
The scent will linger in the air even after its wearer has left.
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The note pyramid of 32 Venenum is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of L'Artisan Parfumeur is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.
When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a sweet-spicy dessert mood: Milk, Sandalwood, Spices, Tea and bread. In this case 5 notes act as one coherent layer, creating effect of a cozy dessert that keeps the opening compact and balanced.
The deeper layers are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.
The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Gourmet, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role.
At the note-group layer the structure relies on Gourmet, Wood, Spicy and Green. The framework further includes Drinks and Fairy. From a family perspective the scent maps to East and Gourmet.
In summary 32 Venenum holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Immediately after application, Venenum 32 gives the impression you've walked into a confectionery, where everything is saturated with sour-sweet notes, but it's not pleasant. The opening of the scent isn't like a prologue; rather, it's a drawn-out act that leads nowhere interesting. Cardamom, which should be central, sounds too soft, as if it's simply missing. This whole sweet background with lactonic notes doesn't save the situation, it only makes it worse.
The scent lingers too long in this phase, and instead of surprising, it just tires you out. Tea notes, the sharpness of ginger, and nutmeg - all of it sounds like a set of random ingredients that don't come together into a harmonious whole. Sandalwood, which was supposed to add calm, merely supports the general atmosphere of indifference and boredom. In the end, Venenum 32 evokes no positive emotions, only leaves a feeling of emptiness
