The olfactory structure of Death and Decay evolves as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Lush is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the depth and body this composition needs.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a creamy-floral mood: Coumarin, Jasmine, Lily, Rose, Tonka bean and ylang-ylang.

The middle and base stages are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

This perfume is definitely an acquired taste, but I'm exactly that kind of lover. At first, you only smell ylang-ylang and jasmine, and then it starts to unfold. The main thing is not to overdo it. In small amounts, it's truly a delicate and soothing floral scent. But if you overdo it - you'll get a real bomb, suitable perhaps only for an elderly lady in furs and gold jewelry 😅

The fragrance is quite aggressive. At first, there's a strong scent of withered lilies, with jasmine and lily of the valley subtly appearing in the background. Gradually, this sharpness fades, replaced by a delicate, almost soapy floral trail
