Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Uptown Funk is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Lush is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Fragrant mist emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a energetic fresh mood: Bergamot, Lemon, Neroli and ylang-ylang. In this format 4 notes act as one integrated frame, creating a sensation of cool purity that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Citrus and Floral with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

This fragrance has its pros, it's really transparent. If it were a bit denser, perhaps the impression would be different. Right now, it smells like a bright lemonade citrus, softened by creamy flowers, but there's still a certain medicinal note in it 🍋

Lush body spray fragrances are truly impressive. They are long-lasting and leave a sillage, and their bouquets are interesting. Unlike the main line, where there are often extra or missing notes, here everything seems to be in its place. Upton Funk is worth trying even for those who prefer more sophisticated fragrances - it will surprise you. Although the pyramid seems simple, I detect a lot of cloves and oranges in it 🍊
