Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Leap Frog evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Lush is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Whiteflower, Floral and Wood. At family level the scent maps to Floral.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a lush white floral mood: Jasmine, Neroli, Rose, Sandalwood and ylang-ylang. In this format 5 notes work as one integrated frame, creating light sensuality that feels seamless.

The inner phases are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Overall Leap Frog holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
