Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Princess Cottongrass is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Lush is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a voluminous floral mood: Balsamic notes, Clove, Fruit note, Geranium, Lemon, Neroli and Nettle. In this case 7 notes work as one voice, forming romantic softness that feels seamless.

The inner phases are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Floral, Fruit and Citrus. The palette also extends to Aromatic, Wood, Green and Earthy / Mossy. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Fern and Green.

In summary Princess Cottongrass reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is simply incredibly sweet, as if someone crushed flowers and added a thick balm with milky notes to them. Something strange and attractive came out, but at the same time it can cause slight discomfort. This peculiar scent definitely won't leave anyone indifferent 🌸
