Identity and Release History: Marc Jacobs Splash Orange, released in 2006, is an eau de toilette from the Splash collection by the brand Marc Jacobs.

This fragrance, belonging to the Citrus family, is positioned as masculine and embodies the playful luxury and bold individuality characteristic of the brand's DNA, founded by designer Marc Jacobs in 1984.

Development Dynamics: From Freshness to Depth: The fragrance begins its journey with a bright citrus explosion, which gradually softens, unfolding in the heart with floral and aromatic notes, and in the finale gains warmth and longevity thanks to woody and musky chords.

This dynamic development makes Splash Orange multifaceted and engaging for daily use, especially in warm weather.

For Whom and When to Wear: Splash Orange is ideally suited for confident men who value freshness and elegance in everyday life.

Thanks to its refreshing citrus base, it becomes an excellent choice for summer days, informal meetings, or office environments, providing a boost of energy and positivity.

For optimal effect, it is recommended to apply the fragrance on clean skin, allowing it to unfold naturally.

The Creators of the Fragrance: The Magic of Perfumers: Talented perfumers Maurice Roucel and Patricia Choux worked on creating this masterpiece, whose experience and creativity gave the fragrance a unique character and emotional depth.

Their collaboration with the Marc Jacobs brand strengthened the house's reputation as a producer of innovative and inspiring perfumes that resonate with a contemporary audience.

Similar Fragrances for Your Collection: If you enjoyed the fresh character of Splash Orange, be sure to explore Emilio Pucci Vivara Variazioni - Verdi 072, Galerie Noemie White Spirit, and Teo Cabanel Hegoa — these fragrances offer similar citrus and fresh accents, complementing your perfume palette with new shades for experimentation.

Description of the composition

Top notes of bergamot, mandarin, and neroli create a bright and refreshing start, instantly awakening the senses with their citrus energy.

In the heart of the fragrance, orange, freesia, mint, and rose unfold, adding floral tenderness and aromatic coolness that balances the initial brightness.

The base consists of amber, white woods, oakmoss, tonka bean, and musk, which provide warmth, longevity, and sensuality.

This harmonious combination of notes forms a fragrance that begins as a refreshing citrus, evolves into a floral symphony, and concludes with a deep woody-musky trail, perfect for prolonged enjoyment.

The Splash Orange pyramid reflects the perfumers' craftsmanship, creating a balanced composition where each note plays its role in the overall impression.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Mojito, huh? Citrus and mint, how original! It's a summer cocktail that wakes you up, but the longevity is just terrible 😒

This scent is definitely not like ordinary men's fragrances. You can feel sweet citrus here, and it sounds very natural. The vibe from it is just joyful, such a sunny ☀️

A fragrance with citrus and woody notes. Even though it's marketed as a man's scent, I wear it pretty often. The citrus notes are just amazing, it smells very natural. I could smell mint in the summer, but now it's gone

Sweet orange combined with dry grass - that's something unusual! I like it, even though it sounds a bit weird. There was a miniature in the set, but I just can't find the full-sized bottle!!! I hope I'll be able to get my hands on it soon
