By character, it falls into the citrus, floral, and fruit groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of spicy, whiteflower, and wood can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. From the Clever collection; released as eau de toilette.

It carries a noticeable sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. A couple of sprays will carry you through the whole day — longevity is firmly high. Brand country — the United States. Clever Dare Mary Kay — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Clever Dare unfolds as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Mary Kay is clear from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

In the top tier you meet vibrant berry first notes: Apricot, Bergamot, Ginger and Lily.

At the core of development you notice Lily of the Valley, Orange blossom and Peony holding a creamy tuberose direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration High points to a sustained drydown presence.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Spicy. It also reaches into Whiteflower and Wood.

Taken together Clever Dare reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

On me, it opened up like Nina Ricci's red apple scent. It's just incredible how it smells

The perfume is simply magnificent, with a bright and playful aroma. For me, it reminds me of something between a juicy apple and sweet vanilla. Not too serious or pretentious, but incredibly captivating 😍

The scent I detected reminds me of vanilla with apricot, but it also has a light apple note, familiar to many. Floral accords add interest, but on me, it's not at all like Nina Ricci. Only the sweet apple might evoke associations, otherwise, it's a completely different perfume
