Fragrance information:

Coda joined the MiN New York portfolio in 2015. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the spicy, wood, and aromatic families. The nose behind this fragrance — Chad Murawczyk. Created within the Scent Stories collection and available in eau de parfum.

The sillage is noticeable — present, but never overpowering. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. Made in the United States. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Coda evolves as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of MiN New York is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Middle indicates a stable lasting impression. In trail behavior Noticeable defines the projection profile in space.

In the top tier you detect astringent woody first notes: Cypress, Eucalyptus and Mint.

When the opening settles you notice Cedar, Cinnamon and Nutmeg carrying a spicy-aromatic direction.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Wood, Aromatic, Spicy and Ambery. The framework further includes Balsamic.

Overall Coda holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

How pleasant it is to feel this fragrance! It's sweet and floral, not heavy at all, but rather light and fresh 🌸 Plum, woody notes, and flowers combine wonderfully here, creating an amazing mood

The aldehydes sound too intrusive, and the prune doesn't add anything new. Flowers and leather mix, but the oriental accent in the base seems out of place. Overall, nothing remarkable
