The year 2016 gave us Bois de Mysore Mizensir. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the fern, east, and wood families. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Alberto Morillas. Created within the Woody Selection collection and available in eau de parfum.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Bois de Mysore unfolds as an expressive line of development, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Mizensir comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Spicy, Citrus, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Green, Musk, Wood and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the scent maps to East, Fern and Wood.

Right at the start you catch cardamom-peppery opening notes: Cardamom, Mandarin and Neroli.

When the opening settles you meet Jasmine Sambac and Violet leaf keeping a creamy tuberose direction.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In summary Bois de Mysore holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.
