Description of the composition

The composition of Butterfly evolves as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Ninel Perfume is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the depth and body this composition needs.

The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Right at the start you sense fresh floral first notes: Lilac and Petitgrain.

In the central layer you detect Green Tea, Osmanthus, Peach Blossom, Peony and Wisteria keeping a opulent floral direction. At the foundation the structure settles through Ambergris, White Cedar and musk, reinforcing a viscous resinous trail.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Floral, Citrus, Drinks and Ambery. The framework further includes Wood, Musk, Whiteflower and Earthy / Mossy. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Floral and Green.

In summary Butterfly holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

It seems like they clearly tried to copy Eclat by Lanvin here. The first few minutes really remind you of it, but then everything changes. If Eclat becomes sweet and fresh, this fragrance goes into a soapy lilac direction. I can't say it's bad, but it's not what you'd call real perfumery anymore 😕
