Tabac Tabou joined the Parfum d'Empire portfolio in 2015. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the leather and aromatic families. Perfumer Marc-Antoine Corticchiato left a distinct mark on this composition. By character, it falls into the green, leather, and wood groups. Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Tabac Tabou is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Parfum d'Empire comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood, Leather and Alcoholic add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a pure botanical mood: Davana, Honey, Immortelle, Leather accord, Liatris, Narcissus and Plum.

The fragrance is really complex, it opens differently on everyone. At first, there's a bright animalistic note, tobacco is barely perceptible, not at all what you'd expect from such a name. There's a bit of dusty narcissus and a bitterness of honey. I'm not sure yet if it's worth buying a bottle, but trying this fragrance is definitely worth it! 😊

Tabac Tabou is a fragrance that spreads slowly like honey, filling the space. It beautifully intertwines notes of meadows where wormwood and sweet clover have already bloomed. Immortelle here smells like a mountain of dried fruits in front of you. Tobacco adds elegance, and alcoholic accents of plum liqueur and port wine make it even more appealing. And, of course, light golden narcissus flowers give this fragrance a special tenderness
