Fragrance information:

2017: the world took its first breath of Erawan Parfums Dusita. A unisex fragrance from the green, wood, and aromatic families. Pissara Umavijani — the creative mind behind this fragrance. By character, it falls into the green, sweet, and wood groups. Available as eau de parfum.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. 1-2 sprays sprays on skin are recommended. A couple of sprays will carry you through the whole day — longevity is firmly high. Brand country — France. Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Erawan unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Parfums Dusita is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you meet grassy-green top notes: Grass and Petitgrain.

In the central layer you detect Clary Sage, Hay, Liatris, Lily of the Valley and Vetiver carrying a lavender-sage direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence High points to a sustained drydown presence.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Aromatic, Citrus, Earthy / Mossy and Floral. The framework further includes Gourmet, Green, Sweet and Whiteflower.

Overall Erawan holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Fell in love from the first spray. This fragrance is simply gorgeous, especially when it's hot. It was about 30 degrees outside, and I decided to try it. It revealed such a charm that I didn't even notice the vanilla, which I was incredibly happy about. Just grass, pure grass. And that's really cool

Who would have thought that Erawan, dedicated to the white three-headed elephant, would become the most interesting fragrance in my collection? Not the divine lily Fleur de Lalita, not the sweet La Douceur de Siam, but Erawan with its animalistic character. When I first smelled it, the thought came to me: «it smells like elephants.» Although I don't know what elephants actually smell like, this association stuck with me. Erawan truly evokes such images.

I call it animalistic because it doesn't fit into any other category, though structurally it's closer to sweet fougères. The smell of freshly cut hay, soaked by warm rains, dried under the sun, and exuding a sweetish aroma by sunset. Light notes of black tea, thyme, and cedar are also present, but what's most noticeable is the hay and chocolate vanilla. Where the elephants are - I don't know, but perhaps there's something animalic in the formula that the perfumer transformed into a vivid illusion.

The animalic accord isn't dirty; it fits harmoniously into the composition, and without it, the fragrance simply couldn't exist. Wearing Erawan on myself isn't for me. But if I had a sandalwood statue of a white three-headed elephant in my garden, I'd rub it with this perfume every morning. Erawan is a true work of art. Does it need human attention after its appearance in the world? No. And that's simply «Bravo!» 👏

I tried this modern legend, and honestly, I was left bewildered. Maybe I'm just not into high perfumery. The scent I detected resembled a powerful mix of patchouli oil and neroli, even though they're not in the composition. I even took a tiny drop from the bottle with my finger, but on my skin, it still had the same effect - patchouli and neroli. It's all a bit strange 🤔
